Hello, and welcome to my site. My name is James Lambert and I am a creative consultant based in Denver, Colorado.
I am a classically trained graphic designer (BFA, Arizona State University) and have been creating professionally for fifteen years. Talent and an ace design education have rewarded my desire to gain experience across a number of disciplines in the creative world. What began as an entrepreneurial foray into the world of silkscreen and embroidery in Phoenix led to new opportunities at boutique marketing agencies and DVD web retail operations spanning the heyday of San Francisco's tech boom. As the bottom fell out from Silicon Valley, I cast my eyes toward Europe and the advertising game at Ogilvy & Mather's Prague offices, working with clients including Kraft Foods Europe, IBM, and KFC Czech Republic. Prague was still an emerging market at that time and my ardor was rewarded with ample opportunity at O&M and later with telecommunications giant Vodafone and the trendy folks at TIGI Hair Care. Last summer, after nine productive years abroad, it was finally time to come home to America. Sue and I carefully selected sunny Colorado for our next great adventure and we have not regretted our decision for one minute. We love it here. Since graduating from ASU in 1996, my creative skills set has expanded to include valuable experience in studio management, marketing strategy, scriptwriting and storyboarding, photography, theater production, naming, exhibit design and light video production. My unique path has me well positioned to meet challenges in a variety of industries and environments. Colleagues describe me as creative and dedicated, a good listener with an intuitive sense for customer experience, and a great motivator with an engaging sense of humor. |
